Our aim, what we have done, what is not right yet, and how to tell us.
Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use manyonone.com. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 at level AA, and we test with keyboard navigation, screen readers, zoom to 200 percent, and reduced-motion settings.
What we have done
- Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a skip link to the main content.
- Text, links and buttons meet contrast requirements, including the coloured letters in the wordmark against their backgrounds.
- Forms have labels, error messages are written in words, and nothing depends on colour alone.
- Animation stops when your system asks for reduced motion. The drawings are decorative and are marked as such for screen readers.
- The site scales to any screen size and to 200 percent zoom without horizontal scrolling.
What is not right yet
- The two films do not yet have captions or a transcript. A transcript is coming; until then the story they tell is written out on the front page.
- The deck ("The idea") is a set of full-screen slides navigated by arrow keys or the buttons at the bottom; it may be harder to follow with a screen reader than the pages. The same argument is written out in How it works.
- The catalogue is a large table; filtering by keyboard works, but the page is long.
